I like the way you've aged this, the picture of the castle is a nice touch too, my only crit would be is that the picture doesn't look like its a part of the book, that just a small thing though. Nice work Velvet. +5

I think this looks great. Beautiful textures and I think the colortone is a good choice i this case. Gives the right feeling. Good job.
It would be really nice to see the site. I guess its under construction?

Papyrus is an egyptian font, really. Find one that looks a little bit more medieval... perhaps a caligraphy or some script. Nice job with the texture.

Thanks Juro, - I was initially trying for the window {where the picture is} is - to open to the next page..but found my coding wasn't up to it and the size too small for what I wanted on the following pages. I could retone the castle a bit more to blend in.

Ikaa..thanks. The site should be up by hopefully next week. I had a last minute addition with the discovery last week of a lost relative's grave who was KIA in WW2 so I've had to make a few more pages. I'll be posting at least another page from the site as the interior design is quite different to this enter page. and will let you know the addy.

Bougal, yes I liked the idea of medieval too, but the site is for old folks who find reading web pages difficult at the best of times. Also the site is about WW2 - people who fought in/over North Africa/Syria/Egypt as well as other places so this font is sort of apt I thought, tho it wasn't my first choice.
